Summary:Typescript letter advising them of the sorts of clothes their son, Amyus, should bring with him to Canada. He writes, "I would avoid buying anything specially adapted for Canadian use, simply provide Am[yus] with a nice little outfit about the same as you would provide were he going to work some place in England ... Some of the outfits brought out by Englishmen would make you laugh. I often smile when I think of that pair of boots I brought out with me [in 1887] and for shame's sake discarded after one week ..."
