| Biographical/Administrative Information: | The inaugural meeting of the Society was held on 9 Feb 1926, continuing untill Apr that year and then lapsing until 1930. From then on it flourished, organising lectures, works visits and taking an active part in Panto Weeks. John F Giblin, founder member and Hon Secretary 1956-1976, President 1977-1978 and Hon Vice President 1980. |
