| Custodial History: | D761: Dr. McLean acquired some of these papers from Mr Ken Hulme (former Director of Ness Gardens) and other persons, the remainder being collected and assembled in the course of the research for her study, A Pioneering Plantsman : A.K. Bulley and the Great Plant Hunters(The Stationery Office, London, 1997). In September 1998 Dr. Sharples deposited copies of Bees Ltd., Catalogues, 1905 and 1913, and related extracts from publications about Bees Ltd. At the same time she deposited with the University Art Collections the medals, over 60 in number, awarded to Bees Ltd., 1906-84 and n.d., which had also latterly been kept at the University Botanic Gardens. D761/5 was transferred from the Special Collections manuscript sequence, Aug 2018. |
