Biographical/Administrative Information: | Miss A. Lois Bulley, political activist and philanthropist, was the daughter of Mr. Arthur K. Bulley (d.1942), Liverpool cotton broker and creator of Ness Botanic Gardens, which Miss Bulley gave to the University in 1948.
