Personal letters from Russell's long-term friend and associate; Birchby mentions a rumour that Russell had died; discusses various fanzines and conventions; describes Russell as a "proselyte of cheese”; this bundle includes a typescript of a translation by Birchby of Historia rerum anglicarum, dated September 1961 and an article entitled Algernon Blackwood: Master of Fantasy.
