Summary:

Erle Korshak announce a new science fiction anthology called Science-Fiction: The Best of 1948, to be co-edited by Everett F Bleiler and T E Dikty, and asks permission to include EFR's novelette Late Night Final; EFR apparently declines, but Shasta are able to double their offer after releasing the rights to Frederick Fell, Inc; Korshak also mentions how his friend Fred Shroyer was supposed to have approached EFR to discuss reprint rights to EFR's novel Sinister Barrier, but had been beaten to it by Lloyd Eshbach, and that Korshak would now like to reprint EFR's novel Dreadful Sanctuary; Korshak asks EFR for some biographical information to include in the anthology, and describes a discussion with Lloyd Eshbach about the advantages to an author of their stories being anthologized; Korshak also mentions being a member of the Fortean Society; he also hopes to include EFR's novelette Metamorphosite in a future anthology; T E Dikty sends a complimentary author's copy of the Shasta anthology Science-Fiction Carnival, which includes EFR's short story Muten.
