Carr would like to include EFR's short story The Mechanical Mice in an anthology entitled Classic Science Fiction: The First Golden Age; he says that Sam Moskowitz had claimed that the story was by EFR, despite being credited to Maurice G Hugi, while an article by Walter Gillings states that the story had been written as a collaboration; For the anthology he would like to clarify the background information on this story, including anecdotes and remembrances by the authors; Carr also says that he has bought the reprint rights for EFR's short stories Dear Devil and Displaced Person; and he adds that he hopes EFR will produce some more science fiction one day.
