The loose cuttings cover the period 29 August 1954 - 4 July 1970 although the majority are from 1968 - 1970. The cuttings generally are about Wyndham. There are some cuttings from various scientific magazines as well as some additional copies of tearsheets of Wyndham's stories.

Also included are seven reviews of the film The Village of the Damned and a short article about the filming of Quest which was based on Wyndham's short story Random Quest. Other titles that are included are Chocky, The Chrysalids, the film version of Day of the Triffids. There are also several articles concerning very large plants that were compared to triffids.

Some of the cuttings are in poor condition and have been placed in mylar sleeves to protect them, please do not remove them from these folders. One mylar folder is larger than the rest and has been placed in the outsize box. It contains an article on the film Village of the Damned and an extract from The Times entitled Talking to John Wyndham, dated 16 March 1968.
