In Lausanne for a Committee d'Urgence & conference on Tuesday ... to talk over all our International work! and to see her son Charles ( We have been separated nearly 5 years!) who is still convalescing. Encloses a report on a meeting at Naples [not present] and praises her sister Hatty's work with the Sailor's Rest in Naples. Trying to publish an issue of The Dawnand asks for information about the abolitionist situation in India. I have felt very anxious about this great medical congress in Rome, of which Syphilographia! forms a department, but our Roman friends are on the watch! On IDC fiche. |
