| Biographical/Administrative Information: | Emily Rathbone (d. 1918) was daughter of Acheson Lyle, Lord Lieutenant of Londonderry and Ellen, daughter of F.J. Warre and Eleanor Warre. Married William Rathbone VI in 1862 (his second wife) and had five children: Emily
Evelyn, Acheson Lyle, Bertram Eric, Eleanor Florence and Francis Warre. Her
sister was Augusta Lyle, second wife of Samuel Greg Rathbone (brother of William Rathbone VI). Emily did much to support work of her husband to establish
district nursing system in Liverpool; acted as Lady Superintendent of district
