Summary:

Includes amongst the bundle: 1 letter and 4 postcards from Miss A. Meyer, 41 Huskisson Street, Liverpool to Mr. Glyn Davies; Ms. note by Kuno Meyer [? to J. Glyn Davies] that the appointment to the Welsh lectureship in Dublin has been postponed, not dated [1909]

In K.M.'s letter of January it seems that a court case has developed of the Strachan's-Evans affair and that a decision is to be made by the judge on 1 February - however the trial is postponed for a week

K.M. writes on 5 February that Liverpool undergraduates have founded an Irish society

K.M. writes to Davies from London where he is staying for the Evans trial; he was cabled as a defendant. He writes of Lewis' letters to Evans being infamous. Lewis was apparently bought by Evans

K.M. writes scathingly of Lewis in his letter after the trial and tells Davies that his (K.M.'s) sister will send on the evidence to him

In Feb. there is some doubt as to whether Sir J. Brunner's offer of £500 will come through

In March the new University in Dublin is mentioned. The costs of the Evans case added up to £1000

In October Brunner sends K.M. £100 of the promised £500

After lecturing in Cardiff K.M. is disillusioned and says he will give up lecturing
