Summary: | The letter begins with Penck thanking Reade for his papers, especially those on chemical denudation. He goes on to say he has been in touch with Mr. Fuchs, the director of the geological branch of the Museum of Natural History about exchanging the Proceedings of the Liverpool Geological Society. Also apologises to Reade for being unable to collect him some samples of river sands, due to sand being rare in his part of the country, the deposits being mainly pebbles.
