| Arrangement: | This series comprises the collection's original C.V. sequence: material relating to the pedigree of the various families. It has been left in its original order; although it is difficult to determine whether this order had any real significance, it is possible that it reflects Reade's research. Material of the same genre, such as lists of wills and administrations, may not be located together. Although the material has not been re-ordered, in certain cases items have been attached together and collected under one call number whereas previously they had been separate. This has been done when it is felt that the items relate to one another to such an extent that they would be better if they shared the same number. Additionally, some papers within one call number have been separated, where it is felt that this would be more suitable. In order to see where this has occurred, the original call numbers for all the items in this sequence have been recorded. |
