| Summary: | Registers of students on tropical nursing courses. Four courses of three months' duration were held each year. The intake usually consisted of 9 nurses from Sefton General Hospital and 2 from the Royal Infirmary. The individual record gives details of name, address, date of birth, qualifications, experience, dates of course, results and matron's and examiners' reports. The first register, 1954-56, is manuscript with photographs of individual nurses in some instances. From the second register all record sheets are typed and in spring binders. Individual photographs are replaced by keyed group photographs from 1961. |
