Biographical/Administrative Information:John T. Brunner was the son of Rev. John Brunner and Margaret Catherine Curphey. The Rev. John Brunner was a Swiss Unitarian and schoolmaster and the first section has papers relating to the family's Swiss origins. John T. Brunner married Salome Davies in 1864 and together they had six children. Salome died in 1874 and the following year he married Jane Wyman. There is no correspondence involving Jane, however there is a large number of letters from Brunner to Salome as part of this section.
