| Summary: | The album contains copies of artwork and photographs relating to Gypsies. Amongst these is a photograph of Lamperli next to a self portrait as a knight; A picture and text about the Gypsy king, Michal Kwiek and various postcards sent to Georg Althaus with images of Gypsies on (from Dora yates, Victor T. Hasler, F. Biemond and others). The images have been arranged by Althaus except GA 3/11/27 - GA 3/11/41 which were found loose in the album but are now inserted at the end. Althaus has labelled some of the images though some have text of their own. |
