Beattie) (in a shadow between Sister Dams and Nurse Tolman), Nurse Joan Tolman or Tolmin (bearing a lantern); Nurse Gaskin (in front, next to Nurse Tolman or Tolmin), and (in a shadow at the back, some way behind Nurse Gaskin) Nurse Hanson, the remainder unidentified.

On the right: Dr Gresford Jones (Bishop of Warrington), Sir John Shute (Chairman of the Board of Management of the Liverpool Royal Infirmary), and Miss Mary Jones (Matron).
