Custodial History:According to a note on the envelope containing these papers, written by Mr. Richard Gray, at Lord Holford's death they were found in a small drawer of a specimen case also occupied by pencils and drawing instruments and placed in this envelope by Mr. Gray. Mr. Gray noted that on 12 March 1976 he extracted four drawings for the Royal Academy; it would appear that these drawings (mounted on card) are amongst those in the envelope.
