Biographical/Administrative Information:Professor L S Hearnshaw, Professor of Psychology 1947-1975 Professor F.J.C. Hearnshaw (1869-1946) was successively Professor of History at University College, Southampton (1900-10), Professor of Modern History in the Armstrong College of the University of Durham (1910-12), and Professor of Medieval History in the University of London (1913-34). He was the author of a number of books and papers.
