Biographical/Administrative Information:Mr Leo F Gore joined the staff of the Dental School, as a Technician in Dental Pathology, on 7 may 1943. He held this post until 7 August 1953 when he moved to a post at Liverpool Royal Infirmary. He rejoined the Dental School's staff on 1 December 1956 as Chief Technician, and was promoted Senior Chief Technician on 1 April 1970 and Senior Chief Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer on 1 April 1978. He retired in November 1987. Dr Gore was awarded the degree of PhD by the CNAA. He died on 30 May 2002.
