Biographical/Administrative Information: | The firm of James Cubitt and Partners was founded in 1948 by James Cubitt, Fello Atkinson, Stefan Buzas and Dick Maitland, all then recent graduates of the Architectural Association School of Architecture. Dick Maitland retired from the practice in 1959 and six years later Stefan Buzas left to form a separate partnership. In 1967 the two remaining founder partners, James Cubitt and Fello Atkinson, formed a new partnership called James Cubitt Fello Atkinson and Partners with John Barker and Alan Craig, both long standing associates. |
