Biographical/Administrative Information:

Mr. Kameen began his service with Cunard serving on-board Cunard Liners. In 1936 he served on the Queen Mary and during the war he worked for 3 years for the Ministry of Transport in New York, organising the passenger liner sailings. He later became head of the Engineering Department and worked in the Liverpool and Southampton offices. He often gave lectures to other heads of departments on subjects such as, the Queen Mary, the QE2 and other Cunard liners.

Cunard's QE2 design team was headed by Chief Naval Architect Dan Wallace (1916-1979) and Technical Director Tom Kameen (1916-2014).
