Higgins in the Field Archaeology Unit in the Departments of Ancient History and of Continuing Education.

Custodial History:The papers were deposited by Mr Oak-Rhind's widow, Mrs P. Oak-Rhind on 16 Nov 1987, on behalf of Mr Peter Davey in the Department of Continuing Edcuation
Separated Material:Mrs Oak-Rhind has donated her husband's collections of pipes and pipe fragments to museums in the areas of their original manufacture. As of November 1987, material has been sent via the Wiltshire Library and Museums Service to museums in Buckingham, Ipswitch, Norwich, Northampton, Exeter, Winchester, London, Woodstock (Oxon), Colchester and Glasgow. The Wiltshire Museum service retains the material from that county.
