Correspondence with R. Anning Bell regarding his pictures and drawings purchased by the Trustees of the late Claret Club for the University Club in 1907 and regarding the method of cleaning his gesso panels at the Club in 1932; 20-26 Oct. 1907, and 19 Feb. 1932.

Letters from John Sampson and the artist Francis Dodd regarding the latter's portrait (holograph of oil painting of) of Sir Walter Raleigh which was loaned by Sampson to the Club and which he reclaims; 24 Sept. 1907 and not dated (c.1907).
