| Biographical/Administrative Information: | The Board of Studies of Architecture and Civic Design was constituted following a recommendation of the Faculty of Arts at its meeting on 19 January 1910. In 1968, following the establishment in 1966, of a Chair of Transport Studies in the Department of Civic Design, the sphere of the Board of Studies in Architecture and Civic Design (as it had become entitled) was expanded and the Board given its current title of the Board of Studies in Architecture, Civic Design and Transport Studies, a title it bears from the Minutes of the meeting of 20 May 1968 onwards. |
