In response to an invitation to former staff and students of the Archives course, recollections and photographs were received from a number of persons, principally per Michelle Alexander, Postgraduate Support Officer for the course, School of History, March - July 2007. In most cases, the photographs were loaned for copying and return.

Edited versions of a number of these recollections and some of the photographs were published in Adrian Allan and Michelle Alexander, editors, From Calendaring to Continuum: A Celebration of Sixty Years of Archives and Records Management Postgraduate Education at the University of Liverpool(Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies, 2007), which was produced for the 60th anniversary reunion held at the University's Carnatic Halls of Residence, 12-13 July 2007. A copy of this publication, annotated with a few corrections (to note changes in surname, etc.) is kept with this deposit, reference D994/33.

It should be noted that the unedited texts of Mrs. Cynthia Short and Rachel Huskinson (see From Calendaring to Continuum pp.11-13 and 28-31) were submitted in 1996 and are in Archives and Special Collections references D716/1/20 and 8 respectively.
