At its meeting on 28 May 1960 the Development Committee appointed a New Men's Hall of Residence Building Sub-Committee (entitled Roscoe and Gladstone Halls of Residence Building Sub-Committee from the minutes of the meeting of 15 Feb. 1963 onwards). The Halls were completed in 1965.
