Summary:Photographs, photographic negatives, and transparencies of staff and students and buildings of the University of Liverpool, Liverpool Royal Infirmary, the David Lewis Northern Hospital (Liverpool), Liverpool Maternity Hospital, and of several views in the vicinity of Pier Head, Liverpool, almost all taken by Dr. Frank Neubert (M.B.,Ch.B., 1939, M.D. 1946) whilst a student at the University of Liverpool, 1929-37, n.d., and photograph of the staff of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, n.d. [c.1903-05] and reprints of journal articles by Dr. Neubert.
Date:c1903-1905, 1929-1937
Reference Number:D361
Arrangement:The photographs (D.361/1/1-60) were sorted generally to bring together photographs of the same subject/person and numbered accordingly. The photographic negatives were listed in the order in which they were found in the 6 individual boxes ("Ilford Soft Gradation Panchromatic Plates" and, in the case of D.361/2/83-104, "Wellington Anti-Screen" [Plates]) but every endeavour has been made to note whether a photographic print of the same is also in the collection (D.361/1/1-60); it appears that there are not photographic prints of a total of 69 of the negatives. There are thus almost 130 different photographic views in all in the collection. This calculation excludes D.361/1/61-79 and D.361/2/105-126 which were subsequently deposited.
