| Summary: | Dr Andrews notes that the only years these slides could date from are 1959, 1960, 1961, or 1962 (in which latter year she was Lady President of the Biochemistry Society and a Biochemistry Honours student). However, as a result of the rowdy scenes in 1961, a Panto procession in 1962 was banned. The 1959 Panto procession took part in drizzle whereas these slides show good weather. It is concluded that the slides may date from February 1960 or February 1959. |
