| Biographical/Administrative Information: | Professor Gunstone entered the University of Liverpool in Sep 1940 and graduated BSc Hons in Chemistry, Class 1, in Jul 1943 and Ph.D in Jun 1946. He held a Senior city Scholarship, awarded by Liverpool Education Committee for sessions 1940-1942 and a Colonial Products Research Council Scholarship/grant for 1943-1946. He was appointed Honorary Campbell Brown Scholar by the University Senate in July 1943 |
