Summary: | EFR's novel Sinister Barrier has been recommended to Fabers by one of their own authors, and Fabers ask whether EFR would submit the novel to them for British publication; Richard de la Mare, then goes on to say that he regrets that Fabers are not the right publishers for the novel, and suggests that EFR should contact Macdonald & Co., Werner Laurie or Andrew Melrose; later letters include royalty cheques for EFR's short story A Present from Joe in the anthology Best SF: Science Fiction Stories, edited by Edmund Crispin, and for the novelette The Waitabits in Best SF Six, also edited by Crispin; and royalties for The Waitabits in Crispin's anthology Outwards from Earth; the Educational Manager also thanks EFR for granting permission to Bruce Montgomery to use EFR's short story Ultima Thule in a science fiction reader for schools, although in the event the story was not actually included. |
