Summary:Typescript copy of Speech delivered by Eleanor Rathbone in the House of Commons concerning two subjects: The Polish Question and the Voting Procedure of the New Security Council. The Polish Question discusses whether the Poles will have appropriate represenation on the government or will end up as puppets to a Russian Government and the future of the free election in the state.The second issue of the Voting Procedure is concerned with the problem of any of the five great powers represented on the Security Council being able to veto coersive action against agression, even if they are the aggressor. Allowing for a dictatorship of the Great Powers and the possible inducement for small powers to become satellites of Great Powers. MS annotations and notes.
