Biographical/Administrative Information:Hannah Mary Rathbone I (1761-1839) was daughter of Richard Reynolds of Bristol, a philanthropist and partner with the Darby family in Coalbrookdale iron works, Shropshire and Hannah, née Darby. Quaker upbringing. Married in 1786 to William Rathbone IV and had eight children of whom five lived to adulthood: William Rathbone V (1787-1868), Richard (1788-1860), Hannah Mary (1791-1831), Benson (1800-1834) and Theodore William (1798-1863).
