Summary:Manuscript letter. Wishes Sampson a happy retirement. He asks for some more leaflets on Sampson's testimonial. The Blake Society wish to participate but they were only sent six leaflets. Wright's Life of William Blake is now being printed. He mentions that some people have approached Liverpool University about giving Wright an honorary doctorate. He gives Sampson some information about himself, including a list of his books, in case he is approached as well. He founded the Cowper Museum, the Cowper Society, the Blake Society and the John Payne Society. He promises Sampson a copy ofLife of Blake when it is finished.
