| Biographical/Administrative Information: | Eric Otto Winstedt (1880-1955) was a classical scholar and philologist, and an authority on Coptic; he joined the Gypsy Lore Society in 1907, and was editor of its Journal 1922-1939; with T W Thompson, Winstedt edited several Anglo-Romani vocabularies. He bequeathed his Gypsy Library to the Gypsy Lore Society. |
