Biographical/Administrative Information: | Paul Du Noyer (b. 1954) is a music journalist and author from Liverpool. After attending the London School of Economics, he became a staff writer on the New Musical Express, and was assistant editor between 1983 and 1985. He moved to Q magazine as assistant editor, and then editor (1990-92). He was founding editor of Mojo magazine (1993-95), after which he became a freelance journalist, and was an associate editor of The Word magazine for its entire existence. As an author, Du Noyer has written several books on music and culture, including We All Shine On: The Stories Behind Every John Lennon Song (1997), Liverpool: Wondrous place(2002), and In the City: A Celebration of London Music (2009). |
