| Biographical/Administrative Information: | Professor Proudlove graduated B.Eng (Civil) in 1948 and M.Eng in 1950. He joined the staff of the University of Liverpool in 1949 as an Assistant Lecturer, becoming a Lecturer in 1952. In 1966 he was appointed first holder of the Chair of Transport Studies, retiring in 1982. |
