Biographical/Administrative Information:Professor W E Kershaw CMG VRD MD DSc (1911-1998), Lecturer in Medical Parasitology 1945-1957, Leverhulme Senior Lecturer in Medical Parasitology 1957-1958, Walter Myers and Everett Dutton Professor of Parasitology and Entomology 1958-1966. In 1966 Professor kershaw left the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to become first holder of the Chair of Biology, University of Salford; he retired in 1976.
