Biographical/Administrative Information: | D Caradog Jones (1883-1974) was educated at the King's School, Chester and Pembroke College, Cambridge. He held lecturing posts successively at the Universities of Bristol, Durham, Manchester and Liverpool. Whilst at the University of Liverpool, where he was Senior Lecturer later Reader in Social Statistics 1924-1944, he directed the Social Survey of Merseyside and edited the three volumes it produced in 1934.
