Lee's Catalogue of the Books in the Liverpool Medical Institution Library (LMI) (to the end of the Nineteenth Century, 1968) none of the published work of Dr. Inman which appears as D398/12 in this list is held by the L.M.I.'s Library. It appears that the L.M.I. Library, however, holds other publications by Dr. Inman and also two volumes (MS.) of his lectures on materia medica, n.d.
Biographical/Administrative Information:

Mrs. Fletcher (nee Inman) is a great-granddaughter of Dr. Thomas Inman and Dr. Michael Inman a great-grandson of Dr. Thomas Inman.

Dr. Thomas Inman was a part-time Lecturer in the Liverpool (Royal) Infirmary School of Medicine, successively on Botany, Medical Jurisprudence, Materia Medica with Therapeutics, and the Principles with the Practice of Medicine, 1846-61 (according to the title page of his On The Restoration of Health, 2nd ed., 1872, and University College Liverpool Calendar... 1899-1900, p.245), and served as Secretary to the School 1847-55 (Henry A. Ormerod, The Early History of the Liverpool Medical School from 1834 to 1877 [1953], p.32).
