Biographical/Administrative Information:Henry Myles Wright (b. 1908, d. 2005) became a Ministry of Town and Country Planning research-officer under Holford in 1943, and wrote the influential report on the redevelopment of central areas to be implemented after 1945. He worked with Abercrombie, Holford, and Holden on the plan for the City of London, after which he went into practice with Holford, and contributed to plans for Cambridge (1950) and Corby New Town (1952). He was appointed Lever Professor of Civic Design at the University of Liverpool in 1954 and remained there for 21 years.
