| Biographical/Administrative Information: | Alasdair Paterson was born in Edinburgh in 1947 and lived in Durham and Sheffield before moving to Liverpool where he worked as a librarian. He has published several volumes of poetry and in 1975 won an Eric Gregory Award. He now lives in Exeter and returned to poetry after a twenty year gap with the publication of 'On the Governing of Empires' (Shearsman, 2010). |
