Custodial History:P94 and P47 were transferred from the Records Management System in 1997.
Biographical/Administrative Information:LUSSAC was established at a meeting of the non-teaching staff of the University on 10 Oct 1935, in the Victoria Building. Permission was given to use the old drawing hall of the Engineering Building as a clubroom. By 1936 women members were also admitted. In the late 1940s a LUSSAC canteen was established and in 1949 a LUSSAC magazine was published.
