| Biographical/Administrative Information: | At its meeting on 21 Dec. 1948 the Council, on behalf of the University, expressed its thanks to Miss A.L. Bulley for the gift of Ness Gardens and the munificent endowment by which it was accompanied. The Council at its meeting on 7 Nov. 1950 appointed a Committee to be generally responsible for the management of Ness Gardens. However it would appear that the first meeting of this Committee was not held until 14 Dec. 1953. |
